Chamundeshwari temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamundeswari, which is the embodiment of the mother Parvati. It is believed that this goddess was actually the Goddess of Woodyard. In front of these temples built in the 11th century, the statue of the King King Mahishasur has been kept.
This temple is wonderful where you must definitely see. On the way to the Chamundi hill, there is also a view of Lord Shiva’s servant Nandi, made of stone of black granite. This temple is a very good sample of Dravidian architecture.
