The railway museum of Mysore was built in 1979. You can see the spread and development of the railway in the Chamundi Gallery of the Museum. Apart from this, you can also visit the Shri Ranga Marquee and see the Imperial Coach of Mysore Maharaj and the first steam engine built in India. There is also a Troy Train in the museum, on which the children can sit around the museum.
