You should reach at most by 5:45 pm taking into consideration the queues at the gate. However, Official Entry Closes at 6:30 pm.

No, not at all. All the belongings including electronic devices & leather belts if taken along have to be submitted at the entry gate only in exchange for a token. Personal photography is not allowed inside the temple premises resulted to which camera and mobile phones are not allowed inside the Akshardham Mandir.

However, there are official photographers inside the temple you can pay & take photos from which is also limited to a few points.

No belongings are allowed inside the temple like : Leather Belts, Mobile Phones, Cameras & Shoes. These things will have to be safely submitted at the entry gate which can be taken back on leaving the premises.
